Who pays for 9-8-8?

The services that currently comprise the 9-8-8 services in Georgia are funded with a mix of federal grant, Medicaid, and state appropriated funds. The federal law also allows a mobile cell phone fee to be enacted by a state to finance its infrastructure for the call response and related crisis services.
