Is Georgia anticipating any challenges associated with the rollout of 9-8-8?

The rollout of 9-8-8 across the nation and in Georgia is the first step in a major transformation of our nation's behavioral health system. DBHDD is working hard to prepare for the rollout in July, but knows we will be transforming and expanding our system to better support Georgians for years to come. Additional funding, expansion of our behavioral health workforce and integration of services and supports across crisis continuum stakeholders will be critical to enhancing our system to meet this increasing demand.
