How should providers determine and communicate if an individual should call 9-8-8 or the Georgia Crisis and Access Line (GCAL)?

Providers should inform individuals that they can continue to reach out to the Georgia Crisis and Access Line at 1-800-715-4225 or via the My GCAL app for support and supportive services. Individuals can also call 9-8-8 for support, but we recommend continuing to promote GCAL through at least July of 2023.
