Yes. 9-8-8 is available to individuals that are dually diagnosed with behavioral health and intellectual and developmental disabilities. DBHDD is engaged with organizations at the national level, including national associations who promote Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) treatment and support, on policy and communication to educate callers and the staff answering the calls on how to respond to a crisis and connect these individuals with the right resources.
